OP Labs fifth iteration of the Startup Partnership Program sees it’s kickstart on Tuesday 6.3 and this time the focus is on Open Banking and the possibilities brought by regulations changes, such as PSD2. Besides Finland, the Program has garnered interest also internationally: over 200 startups were approached about partnering with OP and applications were sent in from countries near and far to join the intensive Innovation Challenge Week in Vallila.
From all the applications received, 12 startups were invited to Vallila for the Innovation Challenge Week on 6.-9.3. The chosen startups will have a chance to spar with expert mentors, meet and gain insight the program’s partners (Accenture & Reaktor) and learn from the Finnish market.
The Innovation Challenge week culminates on 9.3. at 1pm at the week’s Demo Day in Vallila, where teams will pitch their MVPs to OP. Based on these pitches and the team’s business propositions, the jury, compiled of OP, Accenture, & Reaktor executives, will choose the 2-5 startup/scaleup teams to continue to a 3 month long partnership with OP, the Co-creation phase of the program.
We warmly welcome anyone interested in the future of banking to join us in Vallila (Gebhardinaukio 1, 00510 Helsinki), to see the 12 amazing pitches from 1pm to 4pm. The Demo Day is held in the Grand Auditorium and registration for the event is possible via this link.
